This project was secured via a competitive tender and let under a JCT Design and Build Contract 2011, with novated Architects and Structural Engineers. 

The works consisted of the design and construction 8Nr Executive dwellings and detached garages together with associated external works (including parking, planting, landscaping, fencing, and private drives), services, drainage, sewers, and works to the adoptable road and footpath.

All the new dwellings on Bunwell Road is set within its own generous plot, boasting a spacious interior, large gardens and beautiful countryside surroundings.A specially created pond adds to the scenic setting. We are shortly due to complete a further 6 dwellings as part Phase 2 at this site.

These dwellings are constructed for private sale and are finished to the highest standard and have high quality fixings and fixtures.

The specification includes the following| Underfloor heating to ground floor, oil fired heating systemandLog burnersto living area in selected plots, ceramic floor tiles to kitchen, utility, dining and breakfast / family rooms.Integrated BOSCH dishwasher, integrated microwave, Rangemaster electric range cooker. Fitted wardrobes to all bedrooms. Bathrooms and en-suites with Roca sanitary ware throughout Hansgrohe chrome taps and finishes.

The site was built on of arable land with a mixture of broadleaved hedgerow and trees. The 8nr dwellings each consisted of gross internal floor area of approximately 200m2, with 4nr bedrooms with master bedrooms with ensuite and walk in wardrobes, all dwellings having their own stand alone garage. 

Construction of all dwellings comprised of traditional brick and block cavity walls, brickwork finished in flemish bond throughout with 1of the dwellings having a render finish. trenched foundations with beam and block floor with insulation and screed finish, trussed roofs with clay pantile finish, timber aluminum composite windows and external doors, with 2no dwellings having mutiple aluminum timber composite bi-fold doors. 6nr dwellings are externally finished with an oak porch with tiled roof.
